1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the BabySkillMap mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Nature of Service
BabySkillMap is a tool designed to help parents track their child's development, health logs, and milestones. The App provides general developmental information and a gamified experience through an interactive skill tree.
3. Medical Disclaimer
THE APP IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE.
All developmental milestones and health tracking features are for educational and entertainment purposes only. The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your pediatrician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read in this App.
4. User Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases ("Milk Tokens"). Payments will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Play Store account settings.
6. Intellectual Property
The App's design, interactive skill tree, gamification logic, characters, and assets are the exclusive property of BabySkillMap and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of any photos or logs you upload to the App. However, by uploading content, you grant the App a license to store and display this content specifically for your use and for any authorized caregivers you choose to link to your account.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BabySkillMap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App, or for the accuracy of any developmental milestones tracked.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these terms. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the Settings menu.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App developer is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
